Lisa, a seventeen-year-old girl, abused by her father and traumatized by the death of her mother, organizes a camping trip to test the limits of their family curse. For two hundred years, in her family, no one has died of natural causes – only from violence. Tied to the curse is an old family relic that possesses the minds of those not of their bloodline, turning them into Tom Flowers; an undead monster that can raise the dead. When their grandmother mysteriously dies, Lisa, skeptical of the curse and hateful of men, including her own brothers and boyfriend, Phil, organizes a camping trip to their grandmother's abandoned estate to test the curse.
